Would this sporran be suitable for evening wear or dress?

I would say this is a Semi Dress sporran, a Dress Sporran more often than not has a chrome cantle on top. It is a handsome sporran though.

It is handsome but I would not wear it for evening wear or dress.

    Cheers

I sorta agree with Jamie-- it's good looking, but it is definitely not for dress or evening wear. The combination of textures (fur and leather, hard and soft) really sends a mixed message-- to me it's a casual day wear item.

    I kinda like it.

    Thanks for the post.

You've also solved a problem for us. We couldn't decide which bin to put the seals in on trash night.

    Cheers,

I have to agree. Though a very nice addition to your wardrobe.
