    More on kilt pins

I wrote earlier that I'd ordered a kilt pin from http://ScottishKilts.net and when it arrived i found it was the wrong one.

After emailing a couple of times and getting no reply I phoned them.

Sadly this very day I LOST the kilt pin, the rotten thing worked it's way loose, not sure if i'll find it again.

Amazingly, in spite of that when i spoke to Scottishkilts they said they would send out the correct pin free of charge.

Now that is service beyond the call of duty.

Naturally, i want to sing their praises and recommend them. Now. if i can just keep the next one attached, I'll have to glue it or something.

    Graham,

It restores ones faith in the concept of customer service.

I have found that, in general, this is a truism in the kilt community.

I've gotten great customer service from both www.mcrok.com and www.irishkilts.net (they are the same company as www.scottishkilts.net ).

McRok called me to make sure that my order was correct when I ordered a Morrison kilt, but a MacKinnon kilt pin. (that was what I wanted, but it was nice to have them check)

Irishkilts called me because they didn't have my measurements (must have been a problem with the submission).

Alaskan, I didn't know Irishkilts and Scottishkilts were the same people. That Irishkilts webpage is one of the classiest sites I've seen.

Glad you're getting a new pin Graham, now if I can get Easyjet to replace mine...
