Muffler/Scarf
I've been wanting one of these for a while. And, the little bite in the air as of late encouraged me to go ahead. I can't wear it with my Henderson kilt as the kilt is the ancient colours and this is the modern. At least I'll be able to wear some tartan to work now.

Yeah, it would be nice to find one in the ancient Henderson for wear with my kilt. But, I actually bought this intending to wear it with trousers and my recently "Ebayed" Harris Tweedie . Mmmmm... toasty. All I need now is to top it off with this hat and I'll be set. If I can't wear my kilt to work, I'll figure out a way to let my tartan shine. ;)

interesting hat...not my style, but I can see how it would work great with a tweed!
only thing you need now is a bonnie lass who needs to get out of the cold and share a dram or two with you and your hat!!!

nice, I hada friend turn the scraps of my Douglas Grey and Douglas Weathered into scarves for me. They go great with the solid non-traditional kilts I have.

I totally think you could wear the scarf with your kilt even if one's the modern and the other has the ancient colours. The two tartans will be worn far enough apart on you as not to clash; especially if you wear your scarf under your jacket so that it just shows at the collar and the "V" in the neck line.
I was saw a picture of Sean Connery in his formal kilt outfit. His kilt was the green Hunting MacLean (I believe) and his straight tie was the regular MacLean.

I've got me a bonnie lass!

She'll indeed brave the cold with me in the coat. But, we don't partake in anything much stronger than maybe a cup of Earl Grey.
