    My first kilt pin

Actually my first anything Scottish! It's silver and the inscription reads: Bewaur Ye Wha Crosses Wi Me
I've attached it to my Hunter tartan sample.

That's a fine looking pin. Have you got a kilt to pin it on yet?

No kilt yet. I'm putting the cart before the horse. ;)

I'm actually waiting to hear if the Hunter Clan accepts me as a member. Then I'll buy a kilt in the Hunter tartan.

Very nice pin. Hopefully you'll look into other kilts besides the Hunter too.

Well, as far as accessories are concerned, there's nothing wrong with that

I seem to need the family connection to the tartan. I have my eye on the Hunter Peeblesshire, Hunter Ancient and the MacInnes Modern. Outside of that I don't know. I also can wear the Stevenson tartan.

Keep in mind that there are several "universal" tartans that anyone can wear.. with or without a family connection.

That's right, also state tartans. I'd wear the Pennsylvania tartan.
