    My new hacking jacket pre-modification

I have been studying for my interview on Monday and I thought I would take a break to show you how the jacket fits and the various aspects of the hacking jacket. It has some nice color to it, a bit of blue and a small touch of tan. There seems to be a little bit extra, two inches inside the sleeve and I am not sure if this would be enough for special sleeves.

Great find. Already has the double vents and the pockets look to be relatively high. So far I have never found a suitable tweed jacket at the second hand stores that fits me.

Very nice. Not only the side vents in the right place, but looks like the buttons are usable, if there are enough of them. Wally should be able to do a good job with it. The color reminds me of the one I sent to him for conversion.

Nice look Chris, I too have looked at GoodWill and the second hand stores for one in my size but no luck. Found one at Burlington Coat factory on sale. I will take some pre-cut photo as you did and post them. Who do you have doing your alterations for you?

Yeah, but if you have Chattancat do it, then you have to suck it in and go to KC and have Wallace offer you a beer while you try the jacket on, and they you get stuck having lunch at O'Dowd's on the Plaza. What a rough afternoon.

That does sound like a very trying afternoon, I may have to say over a day or two to recover from the strain. And do it again just to be sure we get it right.

Nice looking jacket, I can't wait to see the "after" pics.
