My New Kilt and Kilt Jacket

My wife bought me this Weathered Gordon kilt for Christmas and our anniversary. The sporran I made from a badger pelt about 10 years ago (I know it's big but I like it and it was my first one). The jacket is a cut down sports coat that I found at the local Salvation Army for $10.00 and the tailor charged $45.00 to alter it (I actually found three coats and had them all cut down). The shoes are just plain brown but the socks are socks from a local department store and are thin and great for warmer weather. For whatever reason I didn't have a kilt pin on but I have one now (I don't know what I was thinking).

Please let me know what you think!

    Good looking outfit.

Great looking kilt and the conversion on the jacket worked out nicely; it doesn't even seem like a conversion Full mask sporrans are always somewhat epic but I think your wee beastie is on a next level... it almost looks alive!

I'm not as keen on the sweater. Not sure if it's the Argyle pattern against the tartan or because it's tucked in... maybe a bit of both...

Jacket Great. The sweater works just fine. Can't fault the look. I don't bother with kilt pins.

Wow! You look great, mostly. I'm not loving the hose. They're fine by themselves but, with everything else, they seem disconnected.

Love the weathered Gordon - it dresses up so well, or looks like it was made to hike in.

    A good look cousin.
