    My New Kilt Socks

    Greetings all, 20 April, 5:55pmMST

Just got these on Sunday last. I had bought the yarn in a color close to my tweed kilt, and commissioned a local lady to make them for me.

She makes fantastic sweaters, but had never made kilt socks before. I think they are spectacular.

    Regards aye,

    T.

Spectacular indeed! Those are some very fine hose, sir. I like the way that the cuffs match the body of the hose- makes them look less busy than cable knit hose can sometimes. The diamond detail on the inside and outside of the calf is also a nice touch.

They look great, now just get those shoes shined up and you will be looking quite smart, until then, they are quite a distraction all scuffed up like that

    Those are fine hose, indeed!

Are the cable diamonds on the outside of the leg too, or just on the inside?

This lady might have made $2/hour, if she's a fast knitter. You got a really good deal on these.

You think those are spectacular? I think they flew right past spectacular. Those are awesome and they compliment your kilt very well.
