My New Sgian

A while ago Raptor had posted a thread about his Hound Sgian Dubh.

Well its a few weeks later and the hound has found a home with me. It was waiting in my mailbox when I got home from work today. I am very happy with it it really is a unique piece. Raptor was a great guy to work with on it and has been asking me if it has arrived yet almost daily. I think I have found a new daywear sgian as I really like the idea that it is a one off, the detail on the blade is amazing and the carving on the handle is excellent, i could not ask for a better sgian dubh.

Thanks the Celtic armband is about 14 yrs old, the artwork for it was from the book of Kells the Haida eagle is around 13 yrs old an I drew it up with help from a native friend of mine. Since then all the other tattoos I have, have been drawn up by me.

They are not only Maroonish they are Marroon.
