Clan Donnachaidh (Robertson). Motto is "Virtutis Gloria Merces" which means "Glory is the Reward of Valour". The tartan is the Red Robertson.

I can claim membership in this clan through an ancestor.

awww man. From the thread title that showed on my screen, I thought that this would be about a kilt that was a metallic silver. I actually think that would be neat to see, almost a blend between a trad kilt, and an armored skirt (ie the Roman solder skirts they show in illustrations.)

Mind you, the accessories do look nice.

Good looking articles. Having a little of the Donnachaidh in me (and bearing the same crest), I ID'ed it right off.

Have to agress about the sgian dhu. It's very nice yet understated.
