    The need for tweed

    http://www.divinecaroline.com/22254/77329-----tweed

Sounds like my kind of party! I always get a lot of flak for wearing tweed and smoking a pipe, but now I feel vindicated!

Good lord, I am in danger, for the first time in years, well alright, ever, of being trendy! Now, where did I put that bike?

This is nothing short of Harris-ment. I need to post my tweeds soon now that I've recently updated my photographic capabilities and despite the 100+ degrees we are experiencing in Houston right now.

The epitime of fine country Laird, though it might be ruined riding a penny farthing!

I was this close to a full tweed kilt suit. The loonie was trading at $1.15 against the greenback. I hummed and hahed a day too long to order from Rocky. I do regret that, but right now I can't justify it.

Being an avid cyclist, as well as a dyed in the wool (pardon the pun) tweed lover, I guess I am having a little trouble understanding the single speed bicycle's relationship to the tweed, unless it is simply a historic one of remembering the days when one speed bikes were all we had and tweed was the daily wear of most regular folks including cycle riders heading to work or market, particulalry in the UK. Not a huge correlation here in the states.

Love some of the pics, though. Thanks.
