    Never ask my teen-age daughter....?

I asked my teen-age daughter to help ol' Pops find a pin "suitable" for a kilt pin. This is what we found (?)

It's made in USA for $5.99 at Spencer Gifts. Any thoughts?

BTW, none of the spikes are sharp. I think my daughter was kind of let down by that fact.

That is a thought killer. Ya gotta give her points for it being different.

I'd wear that, depending on the kind of kilt it was pinned to. Traditional style? No way... a more "modern" rendition, like a solid black piece, or a SWK shadow tartan black? Sure would.

My daughter is well past that age BUT, any pin she got me to wear for my kilt I'd wear. Might not like it but I'd wear it because SHE got it for me and thought it was nice.

BTW, if you turn it the other way up it kind of looks like a thistle.

It's different all right. It will make a great conversation piece.

I would wear it proudly since your daughter picked it out.

Maybe start a tradition of her getting you kilt pins for Father's day after many years your can change it slightly and have her get you kilts to match the pins

I'm kind of torn on this one. On the one hand, it's a cool piece, but might look better with goat horns instead of spikes. It is different though. Maybe too different for me.
