new army boots (worth a read)

just seen tactical to practical on TV
a show about army things being used by regular people.
oakley have developed a new army boot, no need for the ritual of breaking them in.
now we can buy em too, albeit, they are very expensive.

    click on the "Military/Industrial link.
read the reviews, they are quite good.

The link didn't work, but I found these on the Oakley website:
    http://oakley.com/catalog/colors/men...ot/night_camo/
The Right Reverend William the Saturnine of Snotting on Wold
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.

Nice boot...like the desert color, would fit well here in the canyonlands and with my Freedom Kilts desert camo kilt and my Pittsburgh Kilts desert MARPAT kilt. But, for that kind of money you'd think they'd offer widths. Got a wide foot. Seems shoemakers have all but abandoned shoes/boots that actually fit widthwise...sad.
