That looks pretty good. I've not seen a price that low and it makes me wonder about the quality. Keep us informed on how well it holds up.

The sueded pigskin has very nice bristle markings and is stitched and doublechained near the gussett. I've got saddles that aren't this good. I have a feeling that they are mostly a saddle and tack shop that uses some of their small table cuttings to make up this type of stuff. O'Neille

Interesting idea using a leather concha (with rawhide drawstrings?) as a closure - I must play around with that and investigate the possibilities.

Thanks for the additional info. It sounds very well made. When you see something that's lower priced than everything else it raises a red flag so to speak.
