New Fraser Kilt Pin or Bonnet Pin
Years ago my Dad bought he and I a couple of Balmoral bonnets at SMHG with our clan badge. Very cool. Now that my Scottish attire is now truly a part of me I feel like I want a "badge" that not only represents that I'm not only a part of the clan but also an individual within that clan.
Playing on the Clan Plant Badge theme, I thought it would be cool to have a kilt pin with one of the symbols of Clan Fraser, the Strawberry Blossom. It's believed that the name Fraser originates from the French word for strawberry, fraise and the plant is called, fraisiers.
Here's the concept image for the pin. Let me know your thoughts. Would you wear it for a kilt pin or do you find it feminine to wear a flower as a kilt pin or bonnet pin.

I would not find it feminine to wear a blossom. I have seen several German folk often pick Edelweiss and wear it. Its hard to wear a real strawberry blossom tucked in your bonnet because they are so delicate. I get asked all the time why I wear a glen or a balmorral with a sprig of Scots Pine tucked in behind the badge. Its a badge of your clan, I say good on ye for finding a way to display it.

I would totally wear something like that. It takes a man to wear a kilt. And a real man is not afraid to wear something beautifully crafted, such as that.
If people don't like it they can go sit on a thistle.

If I were a Fraser, I believe I'd be proud to wear that as a kilt pin. And if anyone gives you guff about it, show 'em why the highland regiments in WWII got called what they did!

I dont think its too feminie at all, if I were a Fraser I would be honored to wear it.

I'd wear it - and I like the thistle idea for any cowardly naysayers!

As a Fraser, I think it is truly Gorgeous! I would be proud to wear it! I think that you are a great artist and a credit to the Frasers! The clan badge for the Fraser of Saltoun, is a sprig of Strawberries with flowers and the motto: "ALL MY HOPE IS IN GOD".
