Got up this morning and kilted up, just because I'm breaking in my new shoes. The olive marled socks are new as well. The sgian brew is one I made myself...

a good sensible pair of shoes, enjoy them, but as an aside, those wouldn't normally be called brogues, as they don't have the punched and decorative holes on the toe cap and or sides, at least they are more likely to be called an oxford style in the UK, but nonetheless they look very proper shoes and perfect for a good walk in the country

Nice shoes, and I really like the hose. Hope you have (had) a good walk.

Paul, the title was more of a reference of the "Brogues before Hose" joke/play on words that I believe Cowher has used prior. These are cap-toe oxfords :-)

After a day of thick, wet socks, and walking around the house, the shoes are finally a bit broken in.
