    New Ian Grant Sporran

I've been hugely excited about getting my new dress sporran from Ian Grant in Edinburgh, and given that when it arrived yesterday I liked it even more than I hoped I would, I thought I'd post a few photies.

It's a thing of wild rabbity furry beauty as far as I'm concerned. And I can't recommend the service highly enough. I thought I'd left it a bit late to order when I first got in touch about a month ago (I needed it for this weekend) but they assured me it'd be ready in time, and even when I panicked on Monday and offered to drive through & pick it up, they said it'd definitely be here in good time - and they were as good as their word.

    Enjoy every sandwich.

That is really fantastic. Good for you getting that. It is something to treasure & keep for your grandchildren. Wonderful work. Thank you for showing it. Would it be too much to ask to see the full back and the inside? Thanks.

    Thanks Tulloch.

The pictures I've just taken in the kitchen aren't quite as helpfully lit as the ones from the garden in the sunshine(!) earlier on but they maybe give you an idea.

You can see the rather nice celtic knot sporran belt clearly enough, if nothing else:

Struggling to get something that shows the inside of the sporran. There's a 6oz pewter hipflask nestling at the bottom of it in this photo though, so it's roomy enough!

That is a beauty, I love the cantle. Definetly an heirloom piece.
    Cheers
