The gold ones are really handsome - I've not seen those before. Of course you need more kilts, once a kilt pin is in it has to stay in - those are the rules, aren't they?

not bad those brass/gold ones look good ,
ive never really been attracted to that type of pin though as ive always associated those pins as nappy pins(diaper pins) but i guess they are a universal style of pin and have many types of use i just remember them stuck to the old terry towl nappies on my siblings when i was a kid ,

id saw some of a similar style called rowan kilt pins which looked good i liked the unusal square end of them

If I am not mistaken, Pins like these are also worn by the "Highland Regiments" & have been for some time.

If you don't want to deal with E bay these pins can be found at your local Farm n Feed outlet. They will know them as Horse Blanket Pins. I have a couple.

I also found some in silvertone & goldtone at a local shop that carries for supplies for hobbyists that make beaded necklaces/bracelets, etc. It's called BeDazzled, and isa a chain store (maybe in your area). They were only 70 cents each !!!! Bargain enough for even the thriftiest Scot !!!
