    New MegaSporran

I need a black sporran and decided to make it a bit larger than usual (I'm 6'3" and feel that I could manage a larger one without looking weird). As I stitched up the bag it just kept looking larger and larger. I tried to decide what kind of test would be most appropriate to see if it was indeed too large.

    Looks about right to me!

    Aye,

Been looking for a larger black sporran. Almost bought one at the Highland Games in Mesa, AZ this weekend, but the lady who made it up put the button on the inside of the flap and you had to do some gymnastic hand work to hook it up.

Decided to go back to the big 9x9" Native Earth pouch/sporran. Think I did a brief thread with a link a few days ago. I like the big sporrans a LOT better than the "standard" size that my hand barely fits into.

Haha, about the same size overall as an old 105mm shell sleeve. You could put 3 wobbly pops in one of those too. That would be a little hard on the "boys" though, presumably.

Reminds me of the movie Strange Brew.

Will it hold ice to keep the beer cold?

And instead of a Celtic Knot on the flap like this one:

You should have a bottle opener!

Ok, so I'm thinking about lining it with Gore-Tex and attaching a bottle opener. It might need wheels to help support the load.

    How do you spell sacrilegious?

    By the way...
    HAPPY MARDI GRAS everyone!
