My first son just turned 30 and for the occasion I commissioned a pair of Sgian Dubh from Rab Gordon.
Each has an Ebony handle and sheath with silver fittings and Cairngorm quartz in the pommel. Each sheath bears our initials on a silver inlay and each Damascus steel blade is engraved with our name and birthdate.
IMHO, Rab is an artist of the highest order and these Sgian Dubh are and always will be family treasures. Rab and Tanya are a delight to work with as well.
