    New Sporran from Donnie

I've been so darn busy at school trying to wind up another year that I did not have a chance to show off the new kilt, sporran, and sporran belt. The Garrison belt is one I got a while ago from Cabelas for $19.95. The kilt was custom made for me by a friend (more on the kilt later) BUT the sporran and accessories are from our own Donnie. He made the sporran in very soft/supple leather and it hangs great on my fire plug frame. There is a ton of room in the sporran pouch and today I was carrying my wallet, room keys, the camera, a money clip, and a couple of other odds and ends. I had room for more but why load it up any more than what I carry when wearing pants.
The color of the sporran is just right for a majority of the kilts I currently own. The horn fobs are the right size and the small leather draw straps will loosen up with time, but I kinda like the way they are now. All this happened in about two weeks from order to delivery. Donnie was great with the order, answered all of my questions promptly. When it arrived several weeks ago I opened the box, sat down and went WOW!!!!!
I'll be putting my two other sporrans up for sale after school lets out because this is now my main sporran. I'll be ordering another like it in black as soon as Summer School money starts to roll in.
Thanx Donnie for the superior workmanship and leather crafting.

I had one of my teacher's aides take these pix today at the end of the school day today. I'll get some more shots of the sporran shortly, showing the inside etc.

Nice choice! I got the exact same one last week. I have to do some pics of it with my new Union Kilt.

Donnie sure does great work; I guess that is why I have two sporrans from him. That belt from Cabela's goes great with the sporran leather; I almost thought Donnie made it until I read the post.

Yup, Donnie's work is nice and the tooling really sets off his sporrans. I picked up one a little over a month ago and am pleased with it.

I recently had him make one of his purses for my wife. I had him do a little custom work, too. My wife loves it. Extra brownie points for me.
