    New Sporran Strap

    I received this in the mail the other day from a very good friend of mine and thought I would share with you all.









    God I love the smell of new leather.......

    Hi Cactus Jack,

    I don't know if you know, but that is called the 'lanyard knot' and it uses a huge amount of material to make. I am sure I speak for many when I say that you are very lucky and we are very jealous.

    Thats quite a unique strap. And Chas is right, it takes an incredible amount of material to make up knots like that. Not to mention alot of time and patients. Great find, where did you get it ?

    A friend of mine made it for me, Took him about 1 1/2 hours to do it sitting in front of his TV
