    Not quite a sporran...

Just finishing up this fox fur bag for someone to use as a black powder "possibles" bag. However, since it could *never* be mistaken for a woman's purse, it could also be worn crossbody in place of a sporran. It is much larger than my skunk sporran, which is itself larger than a normal sporran, but someone like Riverkilt could appreciate its roominess.

Personally, I do not care to wear sporrans (or pins) with my casual kilts, so I may resort to one of these.

And the skunk looks like he just woke up, and he's not happy about it.
I like the looks of mask sporans, but I know the pets would attack one - probably while I'm wearing it!
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.
