Not so much a kilt accessory.....

While perusing the thrift store earlier this week to look for a possible sport coat for a kilt jacket conversion, I spotted a jacket that was constructed from black watch pattern material.... very 70's looking.... It is about a 44R, as it fit me pretty well...

I didn't pick it up, but it might be for someone out there... It was listed for 3.99 or 4.99, I can't remember....Anyone like me to go pick it up for them and send it to you?

Oh, I found a green courduroy jacket with patch pockets and leather elbows, a 48R, but still not too big on me.... the conversion will follow.....

And I bought some cheap, cheap imitation leather purses to put together a trial/practice run at making a hunting-type leather sporran....

THat jacket sounds like it'd be a hoot! I love old 70s vintage stuff. Tartan pattern jackets make me chuckle. If it were something besides Blackwatch, I'd definately go for it. Thanks for sharing... I'm certain someone will just HAVE to have that.
