Now here's a Swiss army sgian dhu!
I found this on a militaria antiques website. The blade isn't quite the dagger-point sgian, it more closely resembles an American Bowie knife, but it's close. The big blade isn't what's interesting though, look at those accessories! Scissors and a corkscrew, picks galore, a button-hook (for all you pipers to more easily button your spats), and a smaller blade, which I assume is opened and the knife then replaced in the sheath.

Did you find it for sale anywhere? It's pretty damn cool.

I think someone needs to come out with a newer version of that. I think it would definately sell, as the major downfall of traditional skein du is they are not that practical as a utility blade today.
BTW, that blade style is called a "clip point".
.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

If this is the men's department, where are the kilts?

It is in fact for sale on the website I found it on. For $2,750! I didn't post a link because there are lots of guns on the site, and those are sort of a no-no here.

Too bad we don't know who made the knife originally. It would be interesting to see if a letter writing campaign to get them knife back into production would have any results.

That's very close to what I'm looking for, though I'd prefer it to be a little more elegant.
Here's the modern version, with a few less bells and whistles (90 lbs. with VAT plus import fees)
