    Otters Foot Kilt Pin

Not my cup of tea, but check out this item on EBAY-UK. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-1900-H...d=p3286.c0.m14 Anyone have one of these?

Aw, man, if my bank account weren't empty right now I'd actually sign up for ebay for that. Looks great.

Remember CITES and Marine Mammal Protection act. It might or might not make it to you these days.
Cowards die many times before their deaths; the valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come. --William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

I've spent too much time in rivers observing the little fellas to ever want to wear a part of them...can't understand what the appeal of such an item would be...

Somewhere there is a very old, very peeved otter with a limp ...
Not to my tastes, either, but to each his own.
O'Neille does raise a valid point, though - anybody in the U.S. at least who thinks about buying this should consider the possibility that US Fish and Wildlife Service will seize it.
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.

I could be wrong, but I don't think an antique item would be subject to any seizure....

I agree and I also have difficulty with sporrans that have heads on them. Each to their own but I wouldn't wear one.

Well, I've seen Fish and Wildlife seize two hundred-year-old ivory scrimshaw, so age doesn't appear to be a factor ...
