    PC on the way!

Just got word from Kathy Lare that my made-to-measure PC and waistcoat from Lochcarron arrived. She reshipped it yesterday. Rules or no rules I'll probably be wearing it for St. Patrick's Day just for the sheer joy of it and having a wee excuse to wear it...in daylight....

Page is the most remote incorporated city in the lower 48...seems to have been kilt police free so far....

That is sweet Ron! can't wait to see some pics of you all shined up!
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Be sure to wear it starting about noon. And don some white kilt hose and a flat hat to boot. A nice brown sporran will really add the final touch!

    And don't forget pictures.

    In daylight?

Only joking - wear it with pride whenever.

    Congratulations... I think.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Pleats in front, flashes split inside and outside of calves. . . you could create one of those "how many things are wrong with this picture" contest!

Maybe it would be the lead-in to our new forum design feature, 10 Things You Need To Know About Wearing the Kilt. . .

Seriously, enjoy it in good health. Don't let the "good stuff" sit in mothballs because it's "too good to use. . ."

Cool It's a Braw lookin Laddir ye are

Congrats on the PC, I just replaced mine last month and glad that I did. They sent me TWO waistcoats (size 48s)so if anyone NEEDS one let me know. By all means wear it to the parade, they might think you are on of the judges and give you FREE drinks.

Actually, Ron, I think that Roswell, NM is the most remote incorporated city in the lower 48- but I just think that, I don't have any real proof- except that it is 300 miles from any other large municipality.

Can't wait to see pic of the the new pc- which tartan are you going to choose for the debut?

Didn't intend this to be a thread until it got here and could take some pics...but fine...

And, Roswell, NM is only 77 miles from Carlsbad, NM. Page, AZ is 135 miles from Flagstaff, AZ. Not sure who first started that boast. Do know the community of Navajo Mountain, AZ/UT is the most remote unincorporated community in the lower 48.

Weird....starting to have fears about the PC....Why'd I buy it if there's no formal events around here? What other "stuff" will I need that I never thought of? Do I really wanna get a horsehair sporran? Such a vast addiction...
