My FREE replacement kilt pin arrived from Scottishkilts.com, it's a beauty, there's a piccie of it in my album if you want to see it.

Scottishkilts.com are just fantastic for their customer service, I could not recommend them more.

Now, hope I don't loose the bloomin thing

    Graham,

Cool looking pin. Now that Alaskan has ordered the same pin, what are you going wear? LOL.

Maybe it can become the official xmarksthescot pin.

NP Glen, Alaskan is far enough away not to steal my glory with the same pin

They are very heavy pins too, should keep the wind from blowing the apron around.

I think that Glen has a good idea about the "xmarksthescot" kilt pin.

Let's take it a little further. What about an "xmarksthescot" tartan. (Rhino?)

    Hank,

    Any thoughts,

    Kiltmakers,

Your thoughts. Someone in Canada, USA, UK, Aus......?
What a way to cellebrate the WORLD of KILTS.

Could we not form an international clan, and have our own clan crest and motto and YES I would wear the tartan without squirming too much.

Graham - I really like that kilt pin. I've thought about getting one of them from scottishkilts.net, and its been good to hear of your great experiences with them.

Rhino - I think my head almost exploded when you were suggesting the creation and wearing of an xmarks official tartan. Whoa!!

Boy, we're getting pretty serious here, kilt pins and tartans!

Could we all agree on a tartan anyway? are there not enough already? The kilt pin could work if there is somepace to have them cast.

What about an enamelled badge as a kilt pin?
    maybe something like this?

Would almost have to be a crest that embodied all our nationalities .... I can imagine that Welsh lion superimposed on an Irish harp on a Union Jack on a Maple Leaf on a ... this thing will weigh a ton!
