Questions on a new sporran!
Has anyone on here ever delt with Tartan Web? I have found a Brown Clan Crest Sporran that I really like, though they may not be able to provide my Seton Family Crest. Which I no real problem, the sporran is absolutely great either way. You can check it out at www.tartanweb.com my problem is I have contacted them twice requesting a price for this sporran with and without the crest and a matching chain/strap. Still no answer.

I have dealt with them for two kilts and a third on order now. Their communication can be spotty. Try all means to contact them rather than just one---email, contact through the website, telephone. I may have the email address of the customer service guy I worked with recently----
Is this the sporran?

if so most of those use a cap badge like you wear on a glengarry or balmoral as the clan badge and it just pins through the sporran flap, so if you can find the Seton clan badge somewhere else you should be in good shape.

Found the email addresses for the two customer service reps I worked with a month or so ago:
jp@tartanwebscotland.com is John Paul McDougall
JamesM@tartanwebscotland.com is James mcNeill
One or the other of them ought to be able to help you if you can't get through any other way. Good luck. It is a beautiful sporran and one I had considered purchasing myself.

I just noticed that xmarks member David Dubh uses this sporran as his avatar. It might be worth dropping him a note.

Thank you for all the help. I will contact both the reps you have given me. I have two Seton cap badges on hand, if I can get the sporran I will be in good shape. Again thank you!
