    Arrow Real Animal Sporrans

I found this website with very real animal sporrans. They are expensive, but if you ever wanted a sporran with a head, mouth, arms, claws and all that these are pretty unique.

Here is a picture of the Badger sporran I found.

And here is the link to all the different types of sporrans they offer.

Wow, can get lost on that site!

These are what are known as "Full Mask" or "Mask" sporrans. They can be found in a few places. The site you've linked to is Craigies, and it's probably the best known source of these. The Scottish Tartans Museum has an option to order a few. And, our own Turpin makes Mask sporrans as well. I was not a fan the first time I saw one. But, I must say I really do like them these days. I would like to have one made from a red fox.

I don’t think that anyone would dare attempt a kilt check with the full mask Coyote Sporran, looks ferocious.

One should also become aware of legal matters in their respective countries concerning some of those animals. Some are considered endangered species.

For me the L&M full masks are the way to go. The Craigie ones are a work of art, but a full mask is supposed to be the only sporran that can go from the ball to the pub, suitible for both full dress and casual day. With the claws and teeth that some of the Craigie sporrans come with, I can't say I would want to ware one to a wedding.
