REVIEW OF WPG's TAM O SHANTER

I just recieved my Tam O Shanter from WPG http://onlinemilitaria.net/shopexd.asp?id=1478&bc=no

    Thoughts

    I. WPG's Cust. service is GREAT !!
    A. VERY fast shipping (this was shipped fron the UEA, yet arrived 5 days after order was placed )
    B. I was kept TOTALY informed of it's progress.

    II. the TAM
    A. 12" diam. ( IMHO a great size )
    B. Quality Wool, well "felted"
    C. Fully lined ( seems to be hvy. cotton.)
    D. Very good workmanship ( not only shaping, but the stitching etal
    E. Color is GREAT ( IMHO)
    F. GOOD details (like metal eyelets for the "tie")
G.. IMHO, a far better quality, than the current "issue" I also have (Black)

If you are looking for a Tam O Shanter to go with you "browns & tans, I would HIGHLY recomend you consider this.

BTW, I also got 2 pair of these from WPG. ( the picture he shows does not do them justis. Great looking hose.Very good quality

Looks like a smart buy, will we see any photos of you wearing it?

I would think that all of you have seen enough of my "ugly PUSS" . but I realize that you really want to see how the items look being worn, so therefor, I will post one ( later this week)

Okay, here is a picture. It ain't the best (colors are not right), but we were heading out for & my lady friend was, as was I, HUNGRY.

BTW, the hose are the ones I got from WPG.

Also a note to my friends in Scotland & Canada, the badge on my sporran is NOT Regimental. It is a stag head "sim. to Seaforth's with a Scot's X behind it & my own motto.

Both items look great with the Weathered McKenzie!
