So, to my mind, the next question is how many of these can be combined?
I think a pencil/key/chapstick holder with a USB drive is pretty doable, if you put a lot of thought into it. Hmm, summer project maybe?

One of my recent purchases that could also be incorporated into this idea is a "Bluetooth" USB dongle. I purchased one off ebay for less than $5, as my computer does not have a bluetooth receiver (but my phone does have bluetooth). So, making a knife-shaped container that holds a USB storage dongle and a USB bluetooth dongle might come in handy for us 'geeky' types. (remember: geeks are cool these days! ).

I'm also tempted by the idea of a pen-case. I have a matching pair of parkers (pen and a mechanical pencil) that I like to take with me. Seems to me that a leather case in the appropriate shape will work for me....

Now all I gotta do is find a leathercraft shop and rebuild my collection of tools!

If your keys really are locked in the car and not lost elsewhere, all you need is a spare door key. That will fit in a billfold or a coin purse or loose at the very bottom of your sporran.
