Given these two choices, I would pick the more traditional one.
Cordially,

I'm not a huge fan of clan cresting every kilt accessory (buckles, pins, etc.), so I would choose the one with the metal handle.

I think they are equally as nice, I say keep the more traditional. I think you will get more use our of it. I do not see the metal handed one dressing down very well.

I would go for the metal handled one. The other looks plastic.
And seeing you asked, I am going to be brutally honest. The stones on both look plastic - not glass. The part that everyone will see is the stone and on both of these the stone looks cheap. Sorry.
Regards Chas

i`d keep the one with the crest ,
i own one the same as silver handled one and i`d go as far to say its not a sgian at all but a proper knife i paid about £4($6) for it last year
at least with the plastic one you have the choice or replacing the fake stone for a real one without too much problems

You should give me the one with the metal handle..
Worth a shot. I like the metal-handled one, so I would keep that. I agree with the previous poster about clan-cresting every accessory. I find that it's a bit much, especially if I'm wearing my tartan already.
However, if you find yourself wearing a non-tartan kilt often, keep the clan-crested one, and send the other to me!
Again, worth a shot!

Regards Chas | Chas is right. I've seen both of these for sale for £12 each... Plastic stone, but they look pretty good for the money.
