    show off your sgain dubh III

    I just finished another sgain dubh and sheath
    thought that I would share the pictures with the board

    I think I'll keep this one
    Caribou handle poured pewter bolster and high carbon sheffield blade

    That's a sweet litle sgian! It reminds me of the Scottish "utility" knives of old (some styles you might be interested in recreating!). The image is from "The Scottish Dirk", by James D. Forman, Historical Arms Series No. 26:

    I,m really into the 18th and early 19th century and try to give the stuff I build and old time feel and pantina
    I also have and use that booklet as a reference
