So this is "Jonesing"...
Well now after a bit of random reading through this forum I saw a picture of a rather nice sporran.
So, thinks I. That would look good on me.
A bit more research is called for.
After a bit of work with the search engine, a name was procured.
An e-mail swiftly followed which was promptly answered.
A deposit rapidly winged it's electronic way across the ocean.
So here we are.
Anxiously waiting for my new sporran crafted by Thorfin.
Pictures will follow when it arrives.
If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.

Heh heh... yeah I got a Balmoral coming from Kinloch Anderson. That's my next arrival. I only hope it fits.

Arrive it will, Graham, and well in time for your birthday. I'll be cutting on it very soon. How's it going in the North Sea, BTW? Good weather?

Turpin, it seem to me that sending sporrans to Scotland is like sending coals to Newcastle. Of course, yours have a unique feature not found elsewhere, the celebrate Thorfinn snap.

Brings up the obvious question. How much weight will a kilt adjust to?

weather is great. flat calm seas and blue skies.
I've got a kilt in my locker and I'm not afraid to use it ;)

I don't think my cargo freedom kilt (that i'm jonesin for) adjusts for weight. My tanks all seem to fit for weight gain but not weight loss. I suppose that's what most people do, but I lose weight October-June and gain June-Oct. (school year weight loss, summertime bbq's)
