    Source on Buttons and Finery

    Hello all,

I want to replace the buttons on my navy blazer and potentially replace buttons on the Argyll jacket that Matt is getting for me.

Does anyone know a source on nice cast or enameled buttons for use here with blazers, jackets, or sporrans. Some of these companies may also make nicer kilt pins or hat badges.

    Cheers,

    Chris

    Try this place...

I got my buttons for my formal jacket from them. Good, quick service and very high quality buttons.
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

Here's a thread that might be useful. Three Feathers is great and there's another at the bottom of this thread that is a little more expensive but they have a different selection.

    blazer buttons...

Pewter buttons? On a blue blazer? Good heavens, no!

For quality blazer buttons, I recommend Ben Silver in Charleston:

Or Benson & Clegg in London:

    Yes, I know -- they're not cheap!

Check with your alma mater as well -- they may have blazer buttons.

    Cheers,

    T.
