    Sporran & knife finished

Just completed these two accessories for my attire. Not a fancy sporran - more just for daily wear, and I revisited the sgian dubh with a little color and fancy brass end. Next I'm going to start designing another sporran with a fancy dress face.

    Nice work.

For my taste, the colour contrast on the sporran is a bit much, but, as I said, that is just my taste. I prefer the more subdued.

    Hi fortcollinsjerry,

Nice job with the sgian dubh. I am re-handling one of mine and am casting around for some ideas. Could you post some details as to what you did with yours to get it to look like that? Thanks

    Regards

    Chas

Posting in the DIY section with some details would be appreciated. I am especially interested on how you finished the sgian dubh with the brass end cap.
