    sporran placement!

aloha, I just wore my very unique kilted outfit to Prom last night. I danced and walked around until from 8pm to 3am and then went out for an early morning dinner; about halfway through the sporran package was hurting my package!
Ouch it hurts! I had a two cameras and a money clip and id cards etc inside, so I don't think it was that heavy...mabye I am wearing it wrong...

What is the correct placement for the sporran?

Most will tell you a hand-width below the belt. Practically speaking, if you load one up the way you descibe you'd better tighten up the strap so that the sporran is hard up against the belt buckle. After walking a bit it will edge downward to its final resting place, which should certainly be well above your sensitive anatomy.

Ouch! Methinks it was too well loaded, and as TH said, a might too low. I have never had that problem and it must be uncomfortable. Are you sure it was not all the kilt checks that caused the tenderness??

Ouch! yep, it hurts...sorta like a very uncomfortable and painful ache...not cool!

I was dancing for about 3 hours, so it might be the weight over the amount of time that was making it painful or perhaps it was too low.

Does the sporran rest above or infront of the "package"?

    What is a "kilt check"?

You must have packed the sporran to the max.

mabye, but it did'nt look packed. The two cameras were about 3.5"x2"x1" and my money clip is a standard size, I placed the cameras side by side vertically inside the sporran and I put the money clip and my cards on top.
