Sporran Suggestions
I am looking for a sporran that is very unique. Brown, leather, with a design on the front. No fur. Jamie's A Hay Sporran Review is kind of close to what I am looking for. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I saw a hand crafted leather sporran at the Texas Renaissance Festival last month that was exactly what I am looking for, and not badly priced. I am still kicking myself for not buying it. It had a leaf pattern dyed green into the front of the leather sporran, and was really stunning. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

A_Hay does custom carving and dyeing. His price is unbeatable. Also look at Turpin's Thorfinn He may not carve leather but a removable flap in thick leather, just add a leatherworker like Cavscout at Oconee Leather Works

I looked at the Thorfinn's. Not quite what I am looking for. Thanks though!
Dude, do you ever leave your desk? You are always the first to answer.

Was the sporran a Rob Roy style or was it the other kind?
If it was the other kind you could try here
They have sporrans like this one
"If the Party could thrust its hand into the past and say this or that even, it never happened—that, surely, was more terrifying than mere torture and death."

The Rob Roy style usually denotes a draw string pouch.

If you remember the name of the people who had the sporran, they may have a website. You might be able to order that very sporran.
