    Sporrans from the UK

    nice sporrans....but the site says they are part of a "cost*me" Oh dear, typical sasincachs...costumes!! I arsk you!!

    I am afraid Highland Dress IS sometimes referred to as a "costume", even in this day and age, and it's that impression or notion that we are all endeavouring to stamp out by wearing our kilts casually as often as possible.

    Of course, what the average guy in the street has in mind when using that word is probably the full dress ensemble with ALL the accessories as worn by a Pipe Major ........ I am getting a vision of the chap who was/is featured on the Dewar's "White Label" whisky bottles!

    It was a surprise to see a Scottish Company using the word, however.

    I must say that I love the pin fastening, I personally haven't ever seen that before. I would also like to see their full dress sporrans when they have things up and running in that area. Thanks for the link.
