Super Birthday Arrival, A super custom sheath from Oconee Leather!
Well, I just hit the big Five-Oh last Sunday. It was a lovely Scottish haul on the "gift" front. More single malts for the collection.
Yes, I share!

The best is this super sheath for an old sgian dubh I found.

I was thinking of something a bit fancier, but Steve's final product is actually better than what I thought I had wanted. This is a rather plain knife and this sheath fits that image. A fancy sheath would have detracted from the knife.
The sheath is really well made to boot.
So, I am really glad I asked Steve to make this for me.

Those are some great gifts you received. The sheath looks great. The Caol Ila is my favorite single malt. Enjoy!

Thank you for your wishes.
The sgian was a very lucky ebay find made nicer by a great matching sheath.
