Matt and Jock Scot, you both look great. I also like to wear a sweater with my kilt. I have a close-fitting commando, a V-neck Canadian Airforce pull-over, and two other bulky-type pull-overs that I like to wear as well.

Nice hat Jock. Nice fleece as well and the look is as good as it is practical.
Knitting is really easy and can be taken up by anybody. Once you have the basics down it is like stringing beads - play with variety and at what you like to your heart's content. I find it really nice to do and I feel so much more useful for being able to do something that produces simple, useful items. I strongly urge everyone to grab some needles and at least make a scarf.
I, for one, intend to start my first sweater pretty soon.

I, too, enjoy sweaters/jumpers. I found a nice blue/green Arran on EBay and I have been searching for a nice v neck wooley-pooley, easy enough to find, but I am a bit larger that the sizes advertised, so far....
I really like your sweater Mac..you have such a talented wife.

Nice sweater, Matt. Your wife does beautiful work.
I have several sweaters from Cabela's (a couple in the woolly pully configuration) which I like to wear on my morning walks, here on the coast. It is not uncommon for us to have rain or fog here, even in the Summer months.

He married a Davidson but she died when my mother was born. My mum did not think more of it but I found that there is a Davidson of Tulloch. I am looking into it but I think it is safe to say that I am probably something of a Davidson of Tulloch. Must go have a look at Tulloch Castle.
Do you have information on Davidson of Tulloch? We might compare what we know. PM me.
