    "Like tanks for your feet:"

No tanks, not at 4 pounds each. That's probably why the Swiss excessed them before they wore out.

Ouch! I think I can feel the calf cramps now.
These'd be great though. What better way to prep your calves for kilt-hose then wearing these around for a while. Brilliant!

Those Swiss army boots look mighty fine! I may be looking into purchasing a pair. But, for the record, my mother doesn't wear them.

Definitely a serious pair boots. I don't think my steel toed work boots weigh 50 oz.

I received my pair back at Christmastime. They are obviously used, but in very good shape (I suspect the Swiss army turned 'em in for something lighter!). They ARE heavy, which you really notice when you pick them up and carry them around. The weight is not so noticeable when on your feet.

They say to order a size up from half-sizes. I'd say go the OTHER way! I wear 9 1/2 and ordered 10. They are so roomy I have to wear two pairs of thick socks. I wish I'd ordered size 9.

Nice boots made of thick leather that don't come any sturdier...!
