That'd be the XMarks tartan. Yes, it's registered.

And this is the kilt made of it...

About 20-30 forum members own such a kilt...made by several different kiltmakers (Barb T., Matt Newsome, Cathy Lare, USAKilts) some gifted members made the kilt themself.

    Welcome btw

First of all welcome to XMarks!

Yes, that's the XMarks The Scot tartan. It was designed I think about two years ago and then some folks got the bright idea of having some woven up. There was a run done in 2005 and again in early 2006 so there are several of us with kilts in that tartan. Do a search for Xmarks Tartan and you'll find numerous threads about it here.

Dee has it about right, and it is a bloody gorgeous tartan! Not many with som much blue in them.

Not the same, but a very nice tartan with, blue, white and yellow is the:
Flanders or Frisken tartan ITI 2531

Seen this pleated to the stripe...really nice!

BTW, has there been a thread with all the xmarks kilt pics (front and pleating) in it?
Inside me is a thin woman screaming to get out. But I can usually shut the b*tch up with chocolate!
