shows them on chicks, but says they are unisex. Could be depending on color I suppose. The double saddle bags reminds me of something you'd wear to hold shotgun shells while shooting clays. The fringed one kinda reminds me of a native styled bag I think I've seen Ron wear. Thoughts?

    Cloves,

I'm with Robin, I think some of them, like the Westwood Classic, would work with a ladies kilt or a ladies kilted skirt (depending on the tartan or color.).

    Cheers

Some of those are definitely out, but others I could see. The Vanetti in black would be no different than a fanny pack (bum bag). I have one from SK in nylon that is just fine for casual use. And the Boho or Westwood fringe would be fine as well. Not sure I like the belt that they are on for a sporran strap though. Too wide. Be interesting to see how the bag is attached to the belt. Might be possible to modify it to use a regular sporran strap.

For the most part, I think they look better on the ladies. But a couple of those I could see being a very nice shooting bag for my Kentucky rifle...

    Aye Cloves,

Looks like a mix of Native and Cowboy fashion. Sorta like putting the sporran to the side as I often do on long walks for obvious reasons.

Looks masculine to me...of course, anything I choose to wear is masculine.

Some on them are kind of girly, but some of them I could see as a sporran.

yeah some do look girlier than others....but I think some of that has to do with the context and their color.
Make 'em in buckskin or distressed leather and throw them on a Ren Faire model and they'd prolly look more the part. *shrug*

For you flintlock, black powder guys, this is just like a possibles bag I have. worn by mountain men and women to keep the things you might need right at hand. I have seen hipsters like this one and over the shoulder models.
