Thorfinn #74 came today!!!! (A review)
As I waited by the mailbox, lurking in the shrubbery, I heard the approach of the mailman. As he warily peered around for wayward attack dogs, he failed to notice your faithful, yet somehow feral, Muppet lurking in the aforementioned shrubbery.
With a battle cry worthy of the great William Wallace himself, I pounced.
After a brief, yet viciously one-sided, struggle and a small frightened squeak (the mailman, not me...), he released the prize that he had been clutching--a nondescript mailing envelope bearing the runic legend "Thorfinn".
After leaving him dazed beside his truck, I retreated to the sanctity of my apartment, whereupon I patiently tore into the package, much like the rabble into a haggis at a Burns Supper.
I beheld before me a Ziploc-bagged vision of beauty. Lovely, black leathery, shiny silvery, beauty. The aroma of new leather caressed my nostrils, the suppleness likened to an angel's (or supermodel's) kiss. I placed it reverently upon my SWK MacLaren Standard.

(On a tangential note, the band "KISS" seemed fond of Black leather and shiny silver as well... And I think Ace Frehley wrecked a MacLaren once...)
But I digress.
The workmanship is superb.
The size is...well...sizable. I can see how Big Mikey was able to fit his noggin into his. There is PUHLENTY of room for all my stuff. I especially like the key holder and cell phone pocket.

Here's the SIQ with my custom modded skull sporran chain. A Photoshopped "Ghost Rider" button completes the mood mod I spoke of with the great Turpin himself...I can change out the buttons and beads as the mood strikes me.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast, and fast is DEADLY!!!

Congratulations on getting it away from the Mailman, it's a beauty. I love my Thorfinn if you are like me it will or already has become your favourite sporran, wear it well.

Wow. Very nice. Turpin must have had a busy weekend. This is the second review of a Turpin Sporran. Sure glad I got my deposit mailed to him this week!

comparison
Do you plan to take Chattancat's suggestion from the other thread and post a camparison between the Thorfinn and Donnie's sporrans? I'd be interested.

I sent out three on Monday.
I'm glad it arrived safely, AnimalK. I really like the skull button.
