Question The Turpin Man of Substance Option

Does anyone have one? Is it too big for a guy with a 50" waist or should I stick with the standard Rob Roy size? I have saved more than $8.00 in change this week from various things. If this keeps up I can get a Turpin original by the Holidays.

I so wish I could share the photo he sent to me illustrating the total size, but I can't stop laughing. The G.O.S. is HUGE, now I need to know if it is too big for my frame.

I think he means this one

Convener, Georgia Chapter, House of Gordon (Boss H.O.G.)

Where 4 Scotsmen gather there'll usually be a fifth.

It's a new Dick Tracey character

Turpin, that is impressive! Creepy, but impressive.

Just remember the size is up to you. "Custom" is the middle name of TCS. So if you think the GOS is too big but the regular is too small, he can make you one in between. But IMHO the GOS would be appropriate for someone with a 50" waist (plus you can always wear it in place of a Glengarry).

I'm thinking late nite video commercials

    "Unibrows gone wild!"

That is actually Weasel Mender's sporran. Made from a piece of sealskin coat provided by Kevin Kinney.

The one in the photo belongs to yours truly and is my most used sporran. It will carry a pack of smokes, lighter, a can of Guinness, a can of Kilkenny, a wallet, a cell phone, a camera, keys and a copy of Michael Jacksons' "Guide to Single Malt Whisky". Yea, it's roomy!
