As mentioned I'm reporting on the above: from a position of neutrality.

First must be the views of herself-she thinks kilts are sensible, sees no reason why men should not wear kilt like garments: but is a vehement opponent of any form of cross dressing. So I had wondered what her reaction would be.

In short her view was 'that's sensible': then there were the expected suggestions all rude-like how they would be enhanced with a bit of lace etc. However if she had thought they were a bad idea-or questionable in any way-she would not have joked. Rather if she'd thought the garment itself or wearing it was suggestive of cross dressing-feminisation or the like-I'd have heard all about it in no uncertain terms.

To start with the workmanship/material etc: the material is very soft and certainly does not chafe in any way. As for the workmanship, that seems fine, but I'll have to wait and see that happens after a bit of use, washing etc. The only comment at this stage, being that the hem appears to roll up a bit on itself when sitting, but this could be the consequence of natural elasticity in the material.

Then comes the initial trial-the garment itself was entirely comfortable, and I was amazed at how it enhanced my heaviest 16oz traditional kilt: for I tried it first with the underkilt and then without-then with again. Quite simply, it was much more comfortable with the underkilt than without. Yet I'd always thought the kilt very comfortable, and could not be more so.

I had wondered if it wouild appear when sitting etc, but it did not; and I do not think it will/could influence modesty in any way. Further I had wondered if I'd be self conscious: but after a moments initial-'what am I doing', I entirely forgot I was wearing it.

Another interesting aspect, I copied the flyer to a friend who is also a habitual kilt wearer, but will not be bothered with this board for in his view there are too many 'skirts': utilikilts etc. His opinion was that it appeared a good idea, and to let him know how I get on with it. He thinking like myself that it is no more than a development of the long tailed shirt-highland shirt: and the arguments being not about wearing such a garment, rather in to what extent it enhances kilt wearing.

I'll report further after I've gained more experience: at this stage I remain neutral.

Great objective post. I look forward to hearing your further progress reports. The reaction from your lady is positive. I had als had the same concern about wearing one.
