Hi guys. I bought this jacket second-hand (but practically unworn) last year and have loved it since. It was tagged "Heritage, Scotland" which gave me a feeling it was from Heritage of Scotland. I checked their site and there was no sign of it.
Today I was back on it and saw on their website the jacket and waistcoat for sale at £149.99 (or £127.65 tax-free). It's a great jacket, good quality tweed and certainly worth the money.
If you're looking for an unusual tweed jacket - instead of a regular-cut Argyll then I'd highly recommend this.

That looks very much like a jacket I bought from you not long ago. Is it the same make? Even if not, it looks very similar. And I agree, it is a bit different than the other jackets on the market...and it looks very nice.

That looks like the same cut as what we call our "Wallace jacket." Basically a three-button Argyle, no?

I've seen this style jacket alternately called a "Wallace jacket" and a "Ghillie jacket," it just seems to depend on the tailors.

I agree with Matt, except the one pictured in the advert seems to have epaulets while Matt's does not. Both also have the Braemar cuff instead of the Argyll. I cannot see the posted picture of Paul wearing his becasue of the filters here on my work network to see if it actually has epaulets or not.

I have an HoS "Contemporary Jacket and Waistcoat" I got on sale a year ago when they were about the same price as this listing above, available only in a couple colors (the one above is only available in grey) while it is now listed in about 8 different colors. Plain cuffs and no epaulets.

Generally things like epaulettes or not, and what style of cuff, are matters of individual preference that can be ordered according to the customer's wishes on whatever style of jacket he's getting. If someone wanted one of our Wallace jackets with epaulettes and guantlett cuffs, that could easily enough be accomodated.

Matt, it's slightly longer than the Argyll-cut. It's close to the length of a regular suit jacket but has a "rolled" front - like the Argyll.

Which Ettrick tweed style are you wearing in that photo of yourself? I want to purchase all of them very soon from your gift shop! The poacher, gamekeeper, laird, ghillie, etc! I love the colors! I also love the estate tweeds-must have every one when I can afford them all!
