    UPDATE X Marks Kilt Pins

I have good news and bad news. The good news is the kiltpins came in today and they are awsome!!!!!

Bad news. It is too late for me to go to the post office!

I will send them off in the morning though!

One thing I have to warn you about though is that the actual pin part is not the best clasping device I have ever seen. You will need to figure a way to make sure it stays fastened. There have been great threads on how to accomplish this though so it is all good.

For those who ordered you should see them in the next week or so (maybe longer for the Non- US residents but they will be there soon enough!)

I havent counted yet either but there is a chance that I have extras so those who wanted and didnt get may have another chance. I will let you know about that a little later...

That's very good news, Hank. Thanks in advance for doing all the donkey-work to get these organised.

Like Graham (I think it was Graham!), I am pleased that I ordered two. The problem now is, which kilts do I select to have the honour of bearing them?

I might just save them to adorn the kilts I hope to bring back from Vancouver in August ............... or, I suppose, I could order two new kilts before then to go with the pins!!

    Decisions, decisions!

Oh, that's what I will do - unless I obtain two new kilts before going to Vancouver!

I have a BearKilt in the British Columbia tartan on order already, to be collected in Vancouver. Also, I am about to order one of Matt Newsome's 4 yard, box-pleated kilts in a regional tartan, and I've just about come to a decision regarding a two-tone kilt from Jeff at Pittsburgh Kilts. Without "X Marks..." I doubt I would have learned of any of these kiltmakers, so an "X Marks..." kilt pin will be appropriate.

Well I just got my kilt pin and it looks great. Fantastic job Hank, my hats off to the craftsman and the design is awesome. I can't wait to get home and put it on one of my kilts.

Son, someday you will make a girl very happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you and be with new men who are ten times better than you could ever hope to be. These men wear kilts.

    Hank,

Just received the X-Pin an it's great. Thanks for all the leg work! As mentioned, the craftsman deserves a round of applause.

    Very Cool!
