Very unique kilt pin website
http://www.kiltpins.com/index.html
At the prices I'll never be able to buy one for myself, but there are some good ones there. I thought of you folks might like these (and I haven't seen it posted here in the last year!).

Very nice pins, but you are certainly correct about the cost. I really like the thistle one with the old coin.

Interesting! I bought a grouse foot kilt pin for my son identical to the one shown here. However, buying it off of eBay I paid no where near that price! I was afraid that he wouldn't like it, as it is a bit different. But he is an avid hunter and he ended up liking it very much.

They are beautiful! Not all to my taste, but that is immaterial. They did, however give me some ideas of my own. . . . .

I'm not a fan of all of them, but I kinda like the contemporary broadsword one.

Wild stuff
Agree with many that not all are to my personal taste, but it's nice to see someone pushing the envelope a bit design-wise. (I also am quite partial to the Giant Thistle!)
The Shooglenifty design is, well, pretty nifty, too. (Great band, btw!)
I could see myself quite easily developing a kilt pin collecting habit... if price were no object.

I will cruise the web occasionally in search of unusual jewelry that can be used as kilt pins. Recently I came upon these that I find really intriguing:
The artist has other examples and other media on his website.
I'm not ready to hurry off and buy any of these - I think they are only examples of the artist's work and don't even know if they are for sale - but I like to believe that keeping an eye on this sort of stuff may help me decide what to get when I see a real opportunity at the confluence of budget and desire.
